The Caring for Breast fundraising campaign paved the way for advanced affordable access to breast cancer screening for women and men in the Bahamas. The new mammogram machine doubles the PMH capacity for screening patients, reduces radiation exposure by 30%, and allows for the digital storage of images which will make comparative studies easier and allow for remote consultations.
