Ports’ New Retail Store
#75 Shirley Street
It is not a store you think about, not like the grocery or the bank, however, when you need their product you are relieved that this business exists in the Bahamas. The new home health care supply store has a complete line of medical equipment available, and with all the options for patients, the showroom takes on more importance.
Why would someone need home care supplies? Home healthcare supplies assists patients who are receiving treatment for an illness or injury that has made it difficult for them to leave their home. The right supplies can help a patient recover, regain their independence, and become as self-sufficient as possible in the comfort of home. Patients with a temporary health issue, recent surgery, or have had a recent hospital stay, the right home care supplies provide a path to better health.
If patients have chronic or long-term health issues, the goal of home care supplies is to maintain the highest possible quality of life as the patient learns to make life changes to adapt to their illness or disability. The team at Ports work with the patients and caregivers to evaluate their health care needs, and develop a plan of care for their home.
The showroom allows customers to see what is available, and what best fits their home care needs. A short list of equipment available includes canes, walkers, wheelchairs, shower assists, beds, special mattresses, patient lifts, ventilators, oxygen, and tubing. The new showroom has a variety of equipment for customers to view, and Ports invites the community to do just that. The showroom is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A special team takes care of the deliveries and home set-ups. We are proud to expand our services, and look forward to meeting and providing competent service to all new customers.
