Ports International Ltd. was incorporated in the fall of 1987. The company's primary business is the importing and wholesaling of medical/surgical, pharmaceutical and public safety supplies and equipment in The Bahamas. The company's principal customers are the Ministry of Health, The Public Hospitals Authority, Doctors Hospital, various surgical/medical centres and clinics as well as EMS, Fire/Rescue and Defence Force entities in Nassau, Freeport and the Family Islands. The company also distributes equipment to the Caribbean Islands.

The company's office and warehouse is located at #40 Airport Industrial Park, adjacent to the Nassau International Airport. The 11,000 square foot facility was completed in the summer of 2001.
